An extension of the Kia Ora Village, the Kia Ora Sauvage is set on a private islet in an unhinabited area of Rangiroa atoll, less than an hour away by boat and a million years from civilization.

It only has 5 beautifully decorated beach bungalows bordering white sand beaches, offering total privacy in the shade of the tropical vegetation. 

"Kia Ora," Tahitian for "welcome," aptly describes this unspoiled paradise. Enchanting bungalows and delightful hosts invite a maximum of ten guests to appreciate the joys of a simpler way of life.

An hour's boat ride from the Hotel Kia Ora, and with no power or phones, the Robinson Crusoe-style remoteness is not for everyone. But if you're looking to spend a few days with nothing more to do than lie in a hammock, fish, snorkel or collect shells and wander the endless reef, then this is your Shangri-la.

Meals are expertly prepared by your talented host and hostess and are served on the beach or on the large communal table in the restaurant/lounge..

The large bungalows have a king size bed, as well as a day bed and a separate bathroom with a shower.

Note: purposefully, there is no electricity at the Sauvage. However, you can now enjoy hot showers.

There are daily activities including snorkeling excursions, reef discovery, walks to nearby deserted islands, or doing nothing at all in the hammocks scattered on this private Eden.
